.NET Modules (Requisitions, Solicitations, BPAs, BPA calls, Contracts, DO/TOs, or POs):

  • To create a modification/amendment, from a released document follow this navigation: Home page | open a released award | Click the "Create amendment/modification" or "Amend/Modify" in the action toolbar | Complete fields in "Modification Number" pop-up window | Click Continue.
  • If changes are required to line items navigate to the "Items" page select an item and click "Modify" from the action toolbar.
  • Users may also add new line items by clicking the "Add" from the action toolbar.
  • From the "e-Document" page users are able to switch the "Summary of Changes" section between "Basic Format" and "Enhanced Format" 
    • Via the Summary of Changes section in "Basic Format" you can:
      • Generate "Change Text", which prints on the form's continuation pages.
      • Edit the text that will print in the schedule on the form.
      • Select the continuation pages files you want to use with the form.
      • This format is default for legacy documents.
    • Via the Summary of Changes section in "Enhanced Format" you can:
      • Use "Form Schedule Text" which provides the option of editing the text that will print in the schedule on the form.
      • Edit the continuation pages using the "rich text editor", which allows you more control over the text formatting than the "Form Schedule Text" option. 
      • Add sections (if you are adding them to the modification, and if you're not using UCF).
      • Use the show markup feature.
      • This format is default for .NET, and new documents. 


Classic Modules (Purchase Card Orders, Section 845 OTs, or Section 845 OT DO/TOs): 

  • To create a modification, open the released document to be modified and click "Modify" on the Main | General page. The "Create New Modification" page will display and you may assign a "Modification Number". 
  • If changes are required to the line items, click "Items" on the Menu on the modifications main page. Select the item that requires change and click "Edit" to view the Item Summary. Click "Modify" to make changes and "Submit" when done.
  • To add a new line item, click "Add". When data entry is complete, click "Modify" on the toolbar to record your changes.
  • There is a "Change Text" section available under the Main | Text page. If you click "Generate" the application will search the document  for any changes, and will display the text for the change in the text  field. This text can be edited.
